A Massive online role-playing game called Sword Art Online or (SAO) is released. With the aid of "Nerve Gear" technology players can move around in game with just their thoughts. A teenage boy named Kazuto Kirigaya, nicknamed Kirito is one of the very few people that got his hands on the first SUPER shipment of the game. When he logs in he finds himself with ten thousand others on the SUPER massive floating castle Aincrad, filled with medieval weapons and gruesome monsters. Not to long after people find out they cannot log out of the game, the game creator has trapped them inside the game until they beat all one hundred levels. To make matters worse if your character dies in the game, you die in real life, and if someone on the outside attempts to take the nerve gear off you will die. Will Kirito escape the game, or will he be stuck in Sword art online forever. find out in this SUPER anime.
