This post is also about the SUPER anime One Piece. In this post I will give the nine main character descriptions, and what i like and don't like about this SUPER anime.
The first character review and descriptions is Monkey D. Luffy. Luffy is the main character of One Piece and the Captain of the Straw hat pirates. Luffy ate the "Gomu Gomu no mi" or "gum gum fruit", this is one of the hundreds of "devil fruits" scattered around the world. If a devil fruit is eaten the one who ate it gains a unique power, Luffy's power for example, he is a rubber man, his skin can stretch like rubber. He loves to eat meat, go on SUPER adventures. Luffy The nickname on his wanted poster, given to him by the navy is "Straw hat Luffy. Almost everyone in One piece has an ambition or dream that they try to obtain. Luffy's is to obtain One Piece the legendary treasure left behind by Gol D. Roger and to become the Pirate king. Luffy is willing to drop everything to achieve his goal. Luffy also does not tolerate anyone hurting his "nakama" or friends.
The second character and the second person to join Luffy's crew is Roronoa Zoro. Zoro is a master of "santoryu" or three sword style (one katana in each hand and one in his mouth). he loves a SUPER good challenge and booze. The nickname on his wanted poster is "Pirate Hunter Zoro" (because before he met Luffy he was a pirate hunter). Zoro's dream is to become the worlds greatest swordsman. nearly nothing fazes Zoro as he charges toward his goal.
The third member of the SUPER "straw Hat Pirate" crew is Nami. Nami calles herself a "master theif" and she is extremely good at predicting weather, reading maps, and ordering people around. She loves Money and Tangerines (see the anime for the reason). the nickname on her wanted poster is "Cat Burgler Nami". Her ambition is to travel the world and draw a map of it. in later episodes nami gains a weapon that lets her control the weather to an extent.
The fourth person to join the crew is Usopp. Usopp is the sniper of the "straw hats", he is also a scardy cat, and a liar. he loves lying and bragging to the rest of the crew . the nickname on his wanted poster is "Sogeking" or "the king of snipers" (see episode 258 of One piece for an explanation. Usopp's dream is to become a brave man of the sea, and not a scardy cat.
The fifth member of the crew is Sanji. Now, Sanji is the cook of the ship, he absolutely loves women and will do anything to protect a woman, friend or foe. Sanji also loves to cook good meals for the crew, he wont let any food go to waste (although Luffy usually doesn't leave any scraps behind anyway). The nickname given to sanji on his wanted poster is "Black Foot Sanji" Sanji's dream is to find the "All Blue", the mythical ocean that connects all the four blues (North blue, South blue, East blue, and West blue) because all the different blues have different kinds of marine life therefor different cooking styles in the different oceans.
The sixth "person to join Luffy's crew is Chopper. Chopper is the doctor of the ship, and a blue nosed reindeer that ate the "human human fruit. which lets him turn into a human like creature, a reindeer, and anything in-between. he loves cotton candy. His wanted poster says Chopper - pet, Chopper is mistaken as the Straw Hat's pet. Chopper's goal is to cure all diseases.
The seventh person to join them is Nico Robin. Robin is an archeologist, she joined the crew after their adventure in Alabasta. she loves history and reading. Robin ate the "flower flower fruit", which lets her sprout any part of her body any where she can see. The nickname on her wanted poster is "devil child". Robins dream is to find the "Rio Ponyglyph" which holds the true history. (the history 900 years before the current time has been completely erased)
The eighth person to join the crew is Franky. Franky is a shipwright. Franky is a cyborg, (half man half machine). he loves cola and building things. Franky's name on his wanted poster is of course "Cyborg Franky". his goal was to build a SUPER dream ship, he did that and after some persuasion from Luffy and some others he joined the crew to keep the ship in good repair. in case you did not know Franky says SUPER everyonce and a while, that is where i get it from
The ninth and final crew member is Brook. Brook is the ships musician, he can play almost any instrument. he ate the "Yomi Yomi no mi" or "revive revive fruit". Brook's nickname on the wanted poster is "Humming Brook", referencing his humming every once and a while. Brook was a former member of the "Rumbar Pirates" they had made a promise to an island whale they named Laboon, (a whale that can grow as big as an island), to travel around the world and meet up with Laboon again, so Brook's ambition is to circle the globe with the Straw Hat Pirates and meet up with Laboon.
That was all the crew members and a little bit about each of them. Personally this is my favorite anime that i have watched so far. granted I haven't watched a ton of anime, but that is because i have been watching one piece. It has made me feel emotions i don't usually feel watching videos or shows. At some select parts almost made me cry or got me feeling sad. There is nothing i really don't like about this anime. This post is about the SUPER anime "Ookami to Koushinryou" or "Spice and Wolf". Lawrence Craft a peddler travels through the world selling all kinds of things. after visiting a village he discovers a girl sleeping under the hay in his cart, she has wolf ears and a tail. The Girl explains she has been called a "god" but her SUPER name is really Holo and nothing else. Lawrence teases the girl a little, but after hearing more of her SUPER story is moved and decides to accompany her further north. On their travels they have all kinds of adventures and often get into trouble, but slowly their SUPER bond gets stronger. There is not too much to say about this SUPER anime but is is a good one I recommend it. The genres are Adventure, Fantesy, and Romance.
