This post is about the SUPER anime "Hai to Gensou no Grimgar" or "Grimgar: Ashes and Illusions". A note before i start this anime is completely hand painted, I am not kidding. anyway This word "Awaken...". this is the only thing the people at the start of Hai to gensou no grimgar remember before waking in an unknown building in a SUPER medieval landscape enshrouded in darkness. They don't remember anything besides their own names. Whats stranger is that sometimes they catch themselves saying words they don't understand, even though they seem so similar. When they find a town they are told the only way to make a living is that they would have to join the SUPER Reserve Army forces to keep the town safe from nearby monsters. The stronger looking of the group quickly form a SUPER team and depart, leaving Manato, Haruhiro, Ranta, Mogzo, Yume, and Shihoru to form their own team and fend for themselves. But how will they get by if they can't defeat the easiest of monsters? This anime follows the ragtag team of six as they start their new life in the world of Grimgar. will this group of strangers be able to survive in the harsh land of Grimgar? find out in this SUPER cool anime.
